BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Sitters are available from 6:00am-12:00am and we do have a 4 hour booking minimum. We charge on the hour and do not do half hours. Although we do our best here at Babysitters at The Beach to accommodate last minute callers, we do encourage early bookings as we book up quickly. If a certain date is already filled, families may request to be put on the waiting list, and Babysitters at The Beach will then notify parents if staff becomes available! Babysitters at The Beach is known for being a reliable company. For this reason, we use caution not to overbook, ensuring every family has a sitter that they reserved! For same day bookings on nanny services we encourage calling to book by NOON the day of, as sitters begin to make personal plans if they are unaware of requested babysitting appointments and will be released. To book a sitter please call the agency. Babysitters at The Beach reserves with a credit card, and has a 48 hour cancellation policy. If any cancellations are made within 48 hours of the booked appointment time, the 4 hour minimum will be charged. Babysitters at The Beach does not require families to pay in advance at time of booking as sitters are paid at the time of service. 

 

PAY AND PRICING

Pricing subject to increase or decrease during peak or off season. 
One sitter: Pricing starts at 24.00 per hour!

Payment: Sitters are PAID on the day of the service. Credit cards attract a 4% convenience fee. On the very rare occasion, a travel fee may incur for areas that require longer driving time. This will be discussed with clients at time of booking. If parents arrive 10 minutes into the next hour, they will be charged for an additional hour as we do not charge half hours. Sitters are available until 12 am, after that time the rate doubles. This is to ensure the sitters safety, as we do not want them on the road at "wee" hours of the morning. 

Driving fee: During peek & holiday seasons, there is a one time driving fee due to sitters sitting in traffic for long periods of time. This is discussed at time of booking.

GRATUITY

Many families often ask if they should tip their sitter. Although it is not an obligation, babysitting is a service and tipping is encouraged as sitters may drive long distances for short periods of time. Sitters may also purchase items, such as disposable non-reusable crafts, for their activity bags so that the children have a wonderful standout experience with our company. For this reason, sitters always appreciate tips. If you feel your sitter did a great job, gratuity is encouraged. This ensures that we maintain an excellent staff and will help with a sitter staying on staff for the family's return visit.
 

SICK POLICY

Our policy does not allow sitters to babysit for children that are sick. This ensures sitters reliability and availability as it prevents the spreading of germs from a previous family. This policy is strongly enforced. This includes and is not limited to fever, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, or inconsolable children.

PROFESSIONALISM

Please remember that Babysitters at The Beach is a child care service only. Staff does not offer housekeeping services. Sitters clean up after themselves and children only. Please remember to be kind to staff as they are always kind to your family! Each sitter chooses to babysit for each family on her own accord. Babysitters at The Beach works with many amazing families, however from time to time, some families might not treat their sitters in a friendly manner.  If families expect more than child care services, or are unfriendly towards sitters, existing reservations may be canceled as we want all sitters to enjoy their experience working with Babysitters at The Beach and to feel appreciated for their efforts and excellent work!

EVENTS & WEDDINGS

For sitters attending events or weddings, pricing may vary depending on needs. Please call for custom pricing. Babysitters at The Beach offers child care for all ages for cooperate, military, or large events. Many items can be brought such as baby equipment, toys, games, and much more! 

We offer sitters in the following areas: All along 30A, Rosemary Beach, Seacrest Beach, Alys Beach, Inlet Beach, Seagrove Beach, Seaside, Watersound, Blue Mountain Beach, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Dune Allen, Carillon Beach, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Destin, and Miramar Beach.
