Acceptance of Terms

By registering and using Staffordshire Sitting Services, clients confirm they accept these terms and conditions. Clients agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information at all times and notify us immediately of any changes.

  1. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings must be made through our online system or via phone/email. A meet and greet is required for all new clients. Bookings will not be confirmed until profiles are complete with full details of the client's requirements, emergency contacts, and any relevant pet/child information.

  2. Provision of Services
Clients are responsible for providing all necessary items (e.g., food, medications, equipment) for children/pets or the home while under our care. If additional supplies are needed, these will be purchased and added to the invoice.

  3. Emergency Contact
Clients must provide a local contact who can make decisions on their behalf in case of emergency. If the contact is unavailable, we reserve the right to seek veterinary or medical assistance as necessary.

  4. Insurance & Liability
While Staffordshire Sitting Services holds Public Liability insurance, clients are encouraged to insure their homes, children and pets. We cannot be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or loss of pets/children while in our care, unless due to our negligence.

  5. Payments & Invoices
Payments must be made via our online portal or by bank transfer. Payment is required in advance of services unless otherwise agreed. Additional costs (e.g., supplies, mileage) will be invoiced separately. All payments must be received within 2 days of the invoice date. Late payments will incur a 10% fee per day.

  6. Cancellations
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice for regular bookings or 4 weeks' notice for event/wedding pet or childcare, house sitting bookings will incur the full service fee. More detailed cancellation policies apply to certain services, which are outlined on our website.

  7. Use of Subcontractors and Employees
Staffordshire Sitting Services employs both staff and subcontractors. All sitters are vetted, insured, and DBS-checked. All bookings must be made through us and payments directed through our platform. No private arrangements are allowed between sitters and clients.

  8. GDPR & Photos
Personal data is securely stored and can be edited by clients at any time. Photos may be taken during service and shared with clients. If clients prefer photos not be used for promotional purposes, they may opt out during registration.

  9. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time. Clients must provide notice of termination or changes to their bookings as outlined in our cancellation policy.
