How does RaiseWell work?

RaiseWell is a platform where you can search for and book premium child services by certified providers who come to your home/school or serve you online. No phone calls required, no cash payments and no stress about finding the right carer or tutor. Simply make a booking using the RaiseWell website or app, select the service to suit your needs, and we'll have one of our experienced & vetted service providers knocking on your door (or online) at your chosen appointment time. Our providers will arrive with everything required to complete the service. You can relax knowing your child is in good, safe hands. It doesn’t get any easier!

What type of services are offered by RaiseWell?

How do I pick my service provider?

Answer
We will match your selection with a RaiseWell provider in your area at your specified time. If, however, you would like to select the exact person that will provide your service, we can arrange this. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Can I book a service directly with a provider instead of through RaiseWell?

Answer
RaiseWell takes the stress out of booking services for both our clients and our providers. If you enjoy the services we offer, we strongly encourage our clients to use the RaiseWell platform exclusively for all their needs. This also ensures the safety of our information privacy, payment, provider location tracking and insurance cover.

How much does RaiseWell charge?

Each service provided has a unique price. Pricing is clearly stated on all service pages and during the booking process so you have complete visibility before paying. Transparency is important to us, so there’s no hidden costs.

What are your available booking times?

Answer
RaiseWell provides services 7 days a week from 7.00am to 11.00 pm. However, times may vary depending on your area, service type and our availability.

Do your providers come to any address?

Answer
RaiseWell service providers can come to any agreed address (home / school / work), or, in the case with educational services, provide teaching online.

How much notice do I need before making a booking?

Answer
We offer service appointments as soon as 1 hour from the moment you book. However, when it’s short notice, we cannot guarantee our full range of services, times or providers for obvious reasons. Booking 4+ days in advance is the safest way to ensure you get the exact service you want.

How many children can be looked after or educated per booking?

Answer
For child care, each carer can look after 4 children. For additional children to be cared for properly, you will need to book an additional carer. For education services (music lessons and tutoring), we offer an exclusively 1-on-1 service to ensure the student gets 100% focus from their provider.

Why do I need to provide identification?

Answer
We ask you to provide identification to ensure the security of both our clients and carers/educators at all times. We request all of our clients to verify their identity prior to sending our providers on a job. It is a very simple procedure, and we employ the latest technology and hardware to ensure that any sensitive data is secure.

What is the RaiseWell cancellation policy?

Answer
Once your appointment has been confirmed you can cancel via the app without penalty within 10 minutes. If you need to cancel after that time the following conditions apply. You are able to cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours prior to your appointment time with no charge. If you need to cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, 50% of your booking fee will be charged. If your appointment is canceled within 2 hours of your scheduled booking time, 100% of the booking cost is charged to avoid lost income for your provider.

Who are the RaiseWell providers?

The “providers” (child carers, teachers & tutors) on the RaiseWell network are among the best in Australia. All of our providers are personally vetted and certified.

How do I use the RaiseWell App?

- Search for the RaiseWell app on your Android or iOS device, and download. - Choose the type of service required, duration, and your preferred appointment time. - Your provider will confirm the appointment. - At the time of your appointment, your RaiseWell provider will arrive at your home, school (or alternate venue) with everything necessary for the service they are providing (except musical instruments in some cases). - Sit back and relax knowing your child is in good hands. - Once your booking is confirmed, RaiseWell will automatically bill you for the service and email you a receipt.

Tutoring

Do I need to supply anything to facilitate the service?

Answer
When booking your service, items like musical instruments, text books, computers and other relevant equipment can be accounted for. If you do not have the required items, you can arrange to book the service at your school/music hall/library where they can access everything they need to complete the service with your child properly.

What qualifications do your educators (teachers and tutors) have?

All our educators (teachers and tutors) have their WWCC (Working with Children Check) and are required to have a minimum of 1 years experience prior to qualifying to work for RaiseWell. We take pride in offering amongst the highest standard of out-of-school education and therefore require that our music teachers have professional teaching qualifications relating to the subjects they offer, and our tutors have proven high school graduation marks in the top 10% of their state. In addition, we request glowing reviews and ensure their personality is aligned with our company’s ethos of a fun, comfortable teaching environment.

Do I need to provide car parking?

Answer
When booking your service, you will be asked to provide detailed parking information for your provider. If our provider is unable to find free parking, or any parking costs are incurred, we kindly ask you to reimburse your provider.
